Shipping & Delivery

Almost all items on this website will be delivered digitally to the email address that you provide.  This means that there is no delivery charge.  The exception to this is software in the following range: Rhinoceros, Flamingo, Bongo, Penguin, Brazil; progeCAD USB version.  These items will be posted out to you on disc and will be delivered within 10 days.  The postage/shipping charge will be shown on your order confirmation.

Digital Delivery

Licenses for ProgeCAD (not USB Version), Orca 3D, Mech-Q, personalbrain, KeyShot and M-Files will be sent out via email after payment has been processed.  Alibre licenses will be added directly to your existing Alibre account.  Digital delivery will be within 2 working days, although usually within 2 hours if ordered 9-5 Monday to Friday.

This policy sets out how Draughtmark Limited (t/as The CAD Shop) uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.

Draughtmark Limited is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Any personal information that you provide will only be used in accordance with this ploicy. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. This policy is effective from 20th May 2010.

What we collect:
We may ask you for the following information:

• contact information including telephone number(s), address and email address
• other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

What we do with the information
We use this information for the following reasons:

• fulfilling your order

we may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address that you have provided.

Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by us for direct marketing purposes.  Initial access to the free software trials is exempt from this

If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information to send information of offers, etc, you may change your mind at any time by writing to us, by amending your details via the 'My Account' link, or letting us know via our website contact form

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless required by law to do so. 

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to us at our published address

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Returns & Refunds

The CAD Shop operates in accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations, with particular regard to E-Commerce Regulations and the sale of digital services.  The following information is offered to help to clarify our terms within this framework.

 All software on The CAD Shop website is freely available for you to try for up to 30 days, with no obligation to buy a license.  If you choose to buy via the website or by placing a telephone, fax or email order, you will be ordering: 

progeCAD - a digital license key to permanently unlock the free download; license key delivered via email.

Alibre - a digital license applied to your Alibre free trial user account. Alibre features will be enabled according to the license type you buy.  Please read the version comparisons or call us before you decide your license choice.

Orca 3D- a digital license key to permanently unlock Level 1 or Level 2 of the free download; license key delivered via email

Mech-Q - a digital license key to permanently unlock the free download; license key delivered via email.  Mech-Q features will be enabled according to the license type you buy.  Please read the version comparisons or call us before you decide your license choice.

Rhinoceros, Flamingo, Bongo, Brazil - a physical disc with product key printed on the CD/DVD case.  This will be posted out to you.

Digital software licenses are services and are not refundable once the service has begun.  Be sure that you are happy with the software license agreement and how the trial software performs on your computer system before placing your order.  You may cancel your order for a full refund before receiving your license key.  Once you have received and registered your license, no cancellation or refund will normally be possible.

Purchases of support and maintenance: you are entering an optional service contract with the manufacturer, as detailed in the item's description.  

Tutor led CAD training courses: we will agree a training contract with you in advance of your order and payment.  This will be confirmed via email. Cancellation charges may apply if you cancel training within 30 days of the date the course is due to run.

In addition to statutory rights, Rhinoceros, Flamingo, Bongo and Brazil purchases will be refunded if discs and manuals are returned to us within 30 days of purchase. Shipping/Delivery costs will not be refunded outside the statutory cancellation period.

Ordering

You can complete orders for any size of order via this website.  You can also contact us for custom orders or prices.  We would particularly recommend this if you are ordering 3 licenses or more.  You can manage and track your orders via the 'My Account' settings.  This includes changing or canceling an order before services are provided.  However, please contact us via phone if possible so that we can get your order changed quickly.

Payment & Pricing

Payment for orders placed via The CAD Shop website is usually made at time of order via debit card, credit card or PayPal.  Optionally, you may send payment via bank transfer or cheque.  Card payments are processed securely by our payment processor, not on The CAD Shop server.  Your card details are not taken or stored by us.  Cheques should be made payable to Draughtmark Limited.  Unless we have arrangements with you, payment must be completed before we send out license keys.

Prices may fluctuate from day to day due to currency exchange rates.

Viewing Orders

You can log in to your 'My Account' area to view previous orders and track progress of your curent orders

Updating Account Information

Before you complete your first order, you will be asked to register a Customer Account.  By creating an account, you will be able to move through the checkout process faster, manage your contact details, view and track your orders and complete future orders more easily.  You can access and edit your account details at any time via the 'My Account' link towards the top right of all pages.  We are committed to protecting your data and will not pass it on to 3rd parties.  Please see our Privacy and Data Protection Policy for full details
